as a tool for transformation, this class describes the Incan
Shaman traditions. Activities include: awakening the connection
to nature, using guided imagery to connect with your power
animals, working with the charkas and energy work using the
Andean healing techniques used by Incan Shaman priests of Peru.
Examining the Shadow Side-Soul Retrieval
Using the Shaman’s cosmology of transition and
change, this class will help participant’s find the power in the
their shadow side. Activities include: using guided imagery to
seek out past lives and reconnect with parts of ourselves that
have been lost to this fast paced life.
The
Ways of the Shaman-Using Positive Rituals
We will explore the architecture and creation
of power tools used by the Incan Shaman in sacred space and
ceremony. Activities include: Work with medicine bundles,
creation of despachos and experiences with the essential aspects
of ritual as it becomes a conduit for healing.
The
Shaman’s Altar
The Incan Shaman’s altar is the living
embodiment of the mysticism found in his or her collection of
power objects. This class explores the process or personal
journey that takes place as a Shaman builds a personal altar.
Activities include: discovering your own personal power objects
to build your own altar and a look at the rites of passage used
by Incan Q’ero priests.
Soul
Retrieval Intensive
Soul Retrieval is an experiential
journey to non-ordinary reality--to alternate realms of
consciousness that one may access through various shamanic
techniques, primarily the shamanic journey. This allows the
participant to explore their own subconscious terrain with a
guide, and access their own answers. The goal is to
retrieve those aspects of the self that may have been "lost" due
to trauma, patterns of dysfunction, illness or pain and
suffering. Soul Retrieval can reconnect and revitalize our
luminous spirit that may have been damaged or trapped due to
trauma or loss.

Program: Mapping the Transformational Journey
Highlights:
Creating and building a
"mesa" or sacred medicine bundle. This bundle becomes a
healing tool in the shamanic practitioners array of techniques
to access alternate realities and effect healing on spiritual,
emotional, mental and physical levels. It connects one to
sacred power places on Earth and to those things we have healed
in ourselves thus transforming our "lead" into "gold" in the
ancient practice of spiritual alchemy.
